Thank you!

For making things possible.

Tangled Feet works hard to build long-term, strategic relationships and partnerships with the people that fund our work.

Everybody at Tangled Feet is very thankful for the goodwill and generosity we have continue to receive.  From organisations that fund our theatre productions to charitable trusts and foundations that support our Participation Programme, and crucially, the partners that support our core costs, each funder plays a vital role in ensuring Tangled Feet can continue doing what we do best - making wonderful theatre.

To those of you that have supported us in the past, and for those who are just joining us on our adventure - thank you.

Tangled Feet is a registered charity governed by a Board of Trustees. We thank them for their support. Annabel Turpin,(Chair), Beccy Allen, Emily Eversden, Mouhammed Choukeir, Catherine Boyd, Michael Webb, Sophie Watson and Catherine McKinney.

How Tangled Feet are tackling anxiety in children

A report from the Children’s Commissioner at the end of last year found that there is an ‘epidemic of anxiety’ in young people. The number of children seeing psychiatrists has risen by a third, with the highest increase – 31% in a year – seen in those aged 9 and under. It’s a shocking rise. (Thanks to Flossie Waite from Children’s Theatre Reviews for digging out the statistic).   It was this sort of news that prompted us to make Butterflies, a Co-Production with Half Moon, that used anxiety in children as a starting point for a show for 3-8 year olds. We first started making the show in 2017 and did some test performances at Half Moon. This year we have developed the show and it’s touring until Nov 24th.  Alongside the tour we have launched a Mindfulness programme to run in four schools in 2019.
